About Dr. Joe
Dr. Joseph A. Riccione, affectionately known as "Dr. Joe," brings over a decade of dedicated service in caring for both children and adults to Synergy in Western New York.
As a board-certified specialist in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, he completed his residency at Sisters of Charity Hospital in North Buffalo.
A proud alumnus of A.T. Still University, the birthplace of osteopathic medicine, Dr. Joe is passionate about embracing a holistic approach to healthcare. He focuses on treating the entire patient—mind, body, and spirit—to uncover the root causes of health issues, empowering patients to harness their body’s innate healing capabilities.

His personal experience with his son Luca's battle against chronic Lyme disease has fueled a new passion for treating under-diagnosed conditions, including a keen interest in Long-COVID treatments. Alongside his professional pursuits, Dr. Joe enjoys a vibrant family life with his wife Melissa and their three sons, embracing adventures like RV camping.
